Review submitted by James from Solihull on 28/07/2008 - gave 5 stars out of 5. "An incredible villa, set in beautiful, entertaining and friendly surroundings. The private pool was a definate highlight as was the very well equipped kitchen. The villa was perfect for my group of six twenty-somethings. It has the peace and tranquility of the mountains as well as a short driving distance to the town, beaches, supermarkets and amusement parks. I would be more than happy to go back there."
"The villa was better than it looked in the photos,a really good relaxing holiday away from the bussle of benidorm.the veiws were sensational, overall a very clean, smart, modern villa, missing it already."
"We have thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful, spacious, well equipped villa. Three generations of our family stayed there and all were well suited to the property. I would recommend having access to a car though as the bus stops are a good walk away. Would definiately stay here again!!!"
"We had a lovely holiday at the Villa Meditarraneo. The villa was
spotless. Sally was very helpful on arrival.
The view down to the sea overlooking Benidorm was a lovely sight to wake
up to every morning. We were four generations from age 3 to 81 and a
good time was had by all! The children loved the pool and we loved the
built-in barbecue. The weather for our week in April was nice every day.
Benidorm is just a 10 minute drive down the road with all the
entertainment for all ages and just a short drive inland and you are in
rural Spain.
The gymnasium just a stroll away do nice meals at reasonable prices.
Only thing I would recommend is car hire, as the buses are almost non
existant and taxis can work out quite costly."
"We have just
spent the most wonderful week at this villa. The location is second to
none - the views are superb. We hired a car and spent some days at
Benidorm beach, some at La Cala and as we stayed in Javea last year, we
took a trip to Arenal beach, which is recommended. At night Benidorm
was only 10 mins drive away so spent a few nights wandering around the
shops and ice cream bars! We were 2 families rangeing from 53 years old
down to 17 and EVERYONE had a great time. The pool was a godsend as the
weather was very hot. The only thing against the villa (and only a
small thing) is that it would have been nice to have more sunbeds as
there were only 3! We would definately book again, infact we have left
our beach sun umbrellas at the villa ready for next year! "
Review submitted by Andy from Barrow-in-Furness on 22/06/2010 - gave 5 stars out of 5."Villa was beautiful, clean and a good location.
Slightly out of the way of the main towns but this being a good thing
as it was very peaceful. Definately book again."

"Will definitely be re-visiting! You do need a
car though to get about to anywhere really as the bus links arent great
and its too far to walk to the supermarkets"

"We stayed at Villa Mediterraneo for 10 days and wish we had booked for
longer. We were met with a warm reception from Matt and were seen off by
Sally.
All of the photos are life-like representations, even bigger in person
in fact. The pool seemed shallow and small in the photos but we were
pleasantly surprised: Im 511 and could barely touch the bottom of the
deep end without being under water.
The villa was cleaned to a high standard, and there was lots of
crockery, utensils and everything needed for the stay. A selec tion of
DVDs were provided and a choice of several TV channels.
The location was excellent. If you like things peaceful and relaxing,
then this is for you. If you dont have a car then its not such a big
issue. Its a straight forward walk (about 2km) to La Marina shopping
centre (where there also is a Carrefour, Mercadona, Lidl and Iceland).
Taxi back is about €7. Taxis into Benidorm are roughly €10. There is
also a bus stop near the entrance/exit of Sierra Cortina. The buses run a
lot more frequently from towards the end of April, otherwise they are
few and far between.
The booking system to rent the villa was easy and no problem. Unlike a
lot of private villas there were no ridiculous charges added that
inflated the price. Only the breakage deposit/waiver is extra.
Definitely we shall consider the property for our next vacation. Thank
you for a wonderful stay!"
