This apartment is by the town of Oropesa del Mar, in the Marina D'Or resort. It is literally only a couple of minutes walk onto the beach itself with a clear Mediterranean sea. There are many, many restaurants and cafes nearby for eating out but there is also a fully stocked supermarket nearby should you wish to do some cooking. There is lots of entertainment for children if they get tired of playing on the beach: gardens, a secure children's play area and a large communal pool. It is an hour's drive or train ride from Valencia to Oropesa del Mar. All the normal watersports such as windsurfing, sailing etc are available at the beach.
All the normal facilities such as banks, pharmacy, clothes shops are also a short walk away by the Marina D'Or spa resort.
If you wish to drive to nearby towns, there are also lots of interesting historical sites such as exploring the underground lake and caverns.

Marina D'Or Spa & Health Resort
This is Europe's largest spa resort, when you walk into the balneario you will be amazed at what is on offer. Marina D'Or consists of a large seawater spa for relaxation and medical facilities where health and beauty treatments are carried out.
The spa has many, many facilities, only some of which are described here: milk bath, mud bath, grapefruit bath, an extra salty "dead sea" where you can actually float, Roman baths, scottish showers, turkish baths, Grand Hamman, saunas, jacuzzis, hot tubs, neck massage jets, ice cave, infra-red solarium.
Above are only a few of the facilities on offer in the spa (not to mention the health and beauty treatments available in the medical centre). To really discover peace and relaxation, you need to be there.
